Started with
an oven and a dream.
Morning Mug began the way a lot of good things do — with someone who loved feeding people and decided to stop waiting for the right moment. We opened our doors in Chippewa Lake with a small oven, a handful of recipes, and a stubborn belief that a town deserves a bakery that feels like home.
Years later, that belief hasn't changed. We still bake early, we still source locally when we can, and we still greet everyone who walks through the door like they're a neighbor — because most of them are.
What started as a morning bread routine became a Saturday pie tradition, a Sunday coffee habit, and eventually a place where people actually want to spend time. That's the kind of business we want to keep building — one cup, one loaf, one conversation at a time.
